If u have a look around u can get the full set up. Suit. Lid. Gloves. Shoes and a hans for around £900 msv will Licence you for £350 iirc.

How many races does ur current tyre set up last. I know there are a few companies that will give you a good price for tyres if u wack a sticker on ur car. If ur smart u can work out some great deals on car prep parts in exchange for a little advertising. Lol. Would be great to find full sponsers but thats a rare case in club series :(
 
My V70 (fronts), in 205-50-15 hard compound, were new at the start, I think they have done 1 x 30 min and 3 x 40 min races, if I turn them I will get another race or qualy session out of them. I already had a bunch of part worn stuff for the rears, lots of life left in them.

Go racing pack is £60, Medical £100, ARDS £250 (depends on circuit).

Sw motorsport seem real good. They quoted £1400 for a real nice weld in cage fitted. They do a clubman special. Fitted and sprayed for £900ish.
 
Wow that's a real good price on the clubman, would save me a lot of cash on what I was expecting to pay, I've seen there multi point cage, looks pretty epic, but pretty heavy aswell.
I'll get in touch with them next month if they do a £900 cage!

I'm in Kent, I can travel for a deal or a good cage but obviously would prefer somewhere closer than sw as they are miles away
 
V70 are better for me, they grip slightly less on the first lap than a 888, but I find the 888 understeers more as they get hot, the V70 holds out for longer does not go off as quick, not quite the grip overall of a A048 but better over 40 minutes in hard. Best value for money tyre for the price.
 
Give TGM a buzz, if you do not sort something on your doorstep, they use a local builder.
 
Yeah I'm a regular Dms customer, was going to pop in and ask what he can do. Just gathering a list and then I'll work through the list and see what they can do for me. Hopefully I'll stumble across a bargain.
 
Sent some emails out. Dms came back at 1600 for 6point custom cages cage welded in.
Haven't heard from tgm or sw yet.
If I don't get an email back I'll ring them.

Was a bit too close for my liking Ian! Looks like I will have to upload that one again, seems many of my older videos seemed to have disappeared/will not play on Youtube, been nothing but grief since they wanted me to change my name on there for some reason :nono:
