no offense but to say "all our products are no crack guanteed" and then to say underneath that it only applies to a certain product line implies ALL your products are not crack guanteed.

i wouldn't expect all discs to be gauranteed against cracking, nothing lasts forever in extreme conditions.

All our products come with No fade guarantee but for the disk, only FCR Series have no crack guarantee.

Are these pads dusty? Compared to something like Ferodo DS2500.

Wouldnt call DS2500 dusty, could you compare the type Z to PF 97, dust or performance wise? Best pads I have tried (oem calipers), turned my silver 172 a rusty brown :D

Type Z and DS2500 and PF97 have about the same amount of brake dust and for performance the Type Z have contain alot of Graphite (carbon) The Friction co-efficiency is alot higher than DS2500 and PF97. Also the temperature runs alot lower as Carbon won't store as much heat as Steel.

If you mainly use your car on road then you can consider lower range Type M pad, they makes almost no brake dust at all and perform as good as DS2500.

my friend bought dixons old crx del sol and had the type m pads on it when he picked it up, and they were awesome. and didnt give off half as much dust as my ds2500's

Oh was it the black del sol, it was my GF car. Yeah that one only have Type M pad, they are specially design for low dust but still keep the brake performance.

yeah the black del sol, its being well looked after lol. Are you headin up to knockhill on the 17-18th of may for the time attack?

Yeah DS2500 is pretty dusty, Type Z pad just alittle better. If you want no dust at all maybe you should try our Type M pad. It just as good as DS2500.

I ran the PF97 first so my car had already turned brown before I tried the Ferodos, I didnt think they were as dusty as they didnt perform anywhere near as good as the PF's, obviously dust is not a conclusive test! I was later informed that they are a trackday only pad, used on clio cup racers, they squeaked when cold but bite was good, on track they were awsome. If the Type Z are as good with less dust I will be happy, Just have to wear down these Hawks first :D

Type Z perform better than the PF97 but for the dust is about the same or little bit less.

after a set of FCR front discs and type z pads when i return from spain on monday ill give you a shout re payment then,

Ok no problem, we have got them in stock. Just send me a PM or email when you ready.

cheers,

Dixon
