You may have issues with your car. The B16b is a faster engine than the B16a.

Omg i so agree with you!

Everytime someone says something as beaten an ek9 its like its impossible, my delsol is not tuned as far as i am aware as i have only just got it.

And yes delsols are heavier, i have the electric roof one too which makes it heavier because of the motor :nice:
 
I think you'll find the gear ratios are different too, the y1 box in the Del Sol being longer than that of the EK9. This is not just the final drive either, each individual ratio is longer.

Tell me, did your Delsol gain on the EK9 when the EK changed gear, or was it in gear that it was faster?
 
not to spam your post but iv also beaten a basicly standard 9 only i was driving a 1991 civic i-vt, was standing start was haribo off heres ek9 before he built the engine up when he first got it so its not hard to belive that a del sol can do it too
