Mine twisted like it was jelly even though i only used a torque wrench to tigthen them. one snapped very poor quality.

no they dont, and they are crap.

do u mean socket set? lol

Sounds like there not worth it, wouldnt like to get them and have them brake when trying to take them off or even better trying to putting them on the car and having to cut them off, risking damaging the wheels. Thanks for the advice.

i know rays have a weird way of locking and arent that badly priced

Haha yeah socket set, not sprocket set. That what I get for using an iPhone to post aswell as not paying a lot of attention when posting.😄

They dont have a locker. I put some on mine today, seemed fine. They are exceptionally light, though i cant imagine they have much strength. Even so, not sure how u managed to twist one :S

Is light weight really that detrimental to you that you have to get light weight wheel nuts? IMO steel ones are stronger an safer.
You would save the same weight by not wearing your shoe's..

d1 spec nuts are absolute crap! used them when i done a stud conversion on my old 106 and nearly all of them cross-thread straight away. the threads eat theirself away after a couple of times taken them on an off.

A friend of mine had them on his evo when it got written off. What happened was a few of them somehow managed to get the threads stripped and broke/fell off whilst on his way to work. He wasn't even pushing it!

Thats why i would prefer to spend more money on a decent set of wheel nuts, seeing as they hold your wheels on!

Do be aware of fake Rays nuts, loads on Ebay at the moment for around £50. They are mass produced and sold in bulk and in colours other than black red and blue which is the genuine colours that Rays produce.

There is some information around and you will be able to spot a fake as the machining of the nut is low quality, the Rays stamp is usually off centre or not well defined and the colour should be matt but is shiny on the fakes.

How to identify Fake Rays Duraluminum Lug Nuts!

I have a set of the non-extendend ones in blue, But I have proven them against the link above and they ARE real.

There BNIB just I don't want blue nuts with my yellow car I have realized.

Will do them for £75.00 delivered if your interested.

PM me if your interested, Have a pic in my build thread too.
