got a set of these tonight they are 5 way damping adjustable, was told they will be very hard i fitted them there after work and i have to say they are deadly!not harsh and crashy at all.im on the softest setting though!takes bumps well and damps, lovely low pitched dull noise, when taking bumps no loud banging like d2s or the likes
my verdict is savage!!

Friend had those in his s14 and it was sitting on the deck but still wasn't to harsh over bumps so yeah id agree and say there good.

New or used? how much did you lowered the car I see a set i am interested in really want to know more about them please give more review.

they are used, almost new condition.like there isnt a mark on them.i dont know how much its lowered didnt take any measurements, just counted the thread to make sure its even enough,i only spent an hour throwing them in as i was busy, ill fine tune when ive the time.ive only driven on them for ten mins so cant say much more really only they are very high quality.i havent tried any of the harder settings.apparently they are 2 grand brand new,i cant verify that as of yet though.
they are probably best set of coilies ive had in any of my cars and ive had a good few!

ok please keep me posted.

Yup, I got these, they dampen very well, no crashy.
Your 5 level adjustment, can you turn them a full 360 degrees?

I run these also, come with 9/5 rates, very good for the road, not overly different from oem feel, quality coilovers, for the track you will need to change the rates after a few sessions.

My civic is also equipped with Cusco Zero2. Ride for me is harsh even in the softest setting. Maybe because of the stiffer spring rate i chose but i love how it handle on spirited driving session..

Yes sir. Mine can turn 360 degrees..

thats good,no bad words,i am made up with them anyway,i will fiddle with them if i ever get the feckin thing to a track!!

I got a question about the 5 level adjustment...
on my 1st run, they were too hard, so i turn the level down.
later on I wanted stiffer dampening, so i turned it up right, i barely feel the difference. so i turn it some more, but there is no maximum turn, it just keeps turning and turning, so I just left it at what it was. My question is would it screw up the dampers if i kept turning it, like 2 full turns..?

New standard Zero 2's Bon? I prefer to start on the softest 1f/1r, I run 1f/3r on the road and dry track 3f/5r - you should feel this change.

I didn't really want to start a new thread so I hope you guys don't mind me bumping this.

I have the same sort of a problem.

I got my cusco zero 2 coilovers yesterday (haven't put them in yet) and I was turning the damper adjustment setting. Clockwise being stiffer and anti-clockwise being softer.

I thought I'd start off at setting 1 first, so I began turning it left, and it seems to keep turning?

Can anyone help with this?

Thank you!

As above, just turn it to the number you want and leave it - they click as you do this. You dont need to keep turning and turning, there are only 5 settings. On the road run them even or preferably the higher number at the rear, spring rate & personal choice pending of course.

I purchased a set of these (second hand) and attempted to put them in last night. On two of them, the "lock" for the height was really tight as if it was partially seized onto the thread. But with a whole lot of WD-40 and screwdriver-mallet(hammer) they became free. Those were the rear two.. Then the front, one side was really loose and able to move just by loosening it with your hand. The other front, however was soo ****ing tight! We spend ages trying to crack it with the mallet, soaked it in WD-40 for ages at a time. And still nothing, not a single budge. This is from it trying to move over the dirt/rust on the tread, which makes it hella tight. Has anyone experienced this before? Any advice? My cousins' going to give it another shot today while I'm at work. We'll see how it goes..

Had these 2 years ago but my crazy driving made me blow the front 2.. so then I moved on to Tein Flex & I love these but miss my Cusco's!

Referring to my previous post my cousin managed to get it to spin! He had to get some spray that manages to "freeze" the rust and dirt off. He let it sit for awhile and then started applying more force for awhile and there we go! Can't wait to set and test them tonight! :drive:
