Hi peeps just seen a car i like its a honda civic 1.5 lsi vtec 3 door hatch 1997 modeel what bhp do these have i currently have a civic 1.4 will there be much difference thanks ?

Not entirely sure on power for the 1.5 lsi, but I don't think there's gonna be that much difference. Just wait until you can go B16/B18!!

I think the 1.5Lsi is 108hp or thereabouts. I had one, they are pretty quick, but quite a bit different to the B16A2, and chalk and cheese with the B16B. It depends on how long you would have to wait before you could get a VTi or a Type R. Dont go down the route of getting a LSi and posting on here 'how can I get more power?' then throwing god knows how much money at it wanting it to go faster. You might aswell save the money and save it for the car that you actually want.

The power difference between the 1.4 and 1.5 vtec is not worth talking about and from my experience the 1.5 vtec are right oil burners. Save up your money and buy a vti
