Civic EG6 SIR2 overhaul.


^ye i was looking it up and read a lot of people doing it by grinding a bit off, il prob have a go at doing it that way, sound:nice:

WOW! Obviously it would be better if u had some spoon of hks parts but still....KICK ASS! Amazing! I love it! Really clean. The only civics where I I've are all ricey. I wish there were more cars like yours around here. You should post a video!
 
And your the only guy besides me who would heat wrap the whole exhaust system. Even the little things you did are awesome.
 
You should go with spoon or HKS cams. I dont know whether the ek9 cams will fit in ur eg but if they do go with the type r spec

You would be surprised how much some of the bolts actually undo over time, i just see it that im under the car might as well check everything as it gives me confidence that the car is in top condition as it gets driven hard all the time.

Sorry for the lack of updates people had a few personal issues of late but hopefully all good now.

To the car, decided today to fit my Spoon Rep carbon lip, had it up in the loft for just over half a year so dusted it off and test fitted it and im very pleased with the fitment, its spot on so sorted out some new stainless steel bolts and washes took the bumper off and set about fitting it.

Also fitted my ARP wing mirrors that have also been in the loft for about 2 years and after seeing Pauls on here i just had to fit them, surprisingly see more out of them then i thought.

Whats peoples thoughts then ?

Im still not sure on it all but really want to get the car out and have a proper look so i will do that tomorrow.
 
i love your car, so much i dont really like looking through your build :)) great work mate and im not usually a fan of big lips :D but that spoon lip looks great!!

hahaha Im the same! I love looking through this build as I followed it on civiclife for a while. But at the same time I hate it because it makes my efforts on my EG6 feels so inadequate in comparison :((.

Will be waiting for the day this is up for sale :nice:

Haha oh no i didn't mean to do what i have to the car it just kind of happened lol but i like doing things right.

Not sure it will ever be up for sale owes me to much theses days which is a shame as the chassis is mint.
 
Fantastic build as said by others real attention to detail! What is the cobra bucket seat you have fitted? Seems to fit the car perfect, a lot I have looked at seem to bulky for the interior.
