Hmmmm, not 100% on this one. The chassis wasn't designed to handle that amount of power, it's only glued together after all, I'd worry about something bending or coming un-glued if this was driven on the edge as a race-focused car, though the video looks promising so perhaps I'm wrong. I think the most I'd want in a Lotus is 300 BHP which is the tried and tested K20a2 plus supercharger.
 
It's cool, but not as cool as the one-of-a-kind Lotus Sport Exige that rocks a 400hp V6 and sequential box.

You dont need Honda to do it Plenty of conversion kits available for the K20 in elise/exiges these days.

I have an elise by way and would love to do it myself. :drive:

as said i think 300bhp would be my ideal power in an elise type shell / exige! but they are still nuts, its like the hennesey Exige. Just crazy :D
 
Seen this in a mag i bought while in the states. If anyone is wondering this thing has been built up and up and up. It handles the power like a saint.

The guy who built it knows his stuff and from what i read this thing is an absolute animal.

I prefered it when it had bright orange wheels, looked mental.
 
not sure on this. aluminum + glue + fiber Glass = ??
i work on this for whole week, to me its like a model car ( all glue toghter )
