Just thought id share my happiness on here, picked myself up a white EE9 (UK EF9) today with a nice B16a engine, 2 lady owners from new, has never been into VTEC or even redlined, for a staggering..........

£300....., yes, £300.........=...........lots of WIN!! :win: :drive:

*pics to follow this evening hopefully once ive cleaned her up a bit

Few dents, scratches and scrapes here and there, few clips broken here and there, bit of ware on the drivers seat and hasn't been cleaned in about 10 years either but hay, they dont come up every day for bloody £300!!! And there's not loads of rust on it either just small manageable amounts here and there and the rear arches are all solid so are the sills!

So ive got myself a fleet almost now, Civic EG, CRX and an EE9 :D .....and a pathetic scooby sport :(

Plans are basically simple for this one, rather than go down the show route that the EG will be used for, i'll restore it and replace any parts needing replacing, full service and head gasket on the B16, then strip it right out, keep it simple, coilovers, cage, 5zigen exhaust system, buckets, braces........and a few choice JDM bling parts and thats about it. Ready for some VTEC action in the summer time!

.............Ek9 next, hmmmmm i wonder. ;) think it would be rude not too!

X2 congrats mate :) £300 is the steal of the century haha get some pics up mate :)

Would anybody Trade me a worked k20 Bottom end for a clean 97 coupe/no rust/front bumper needs work/and needs an axel/40,000 on d15b/slow as **** but v-Tec POPS! :)

^ been looking at that too mate, its lush and i'd bet it would wipe the floor with an EK9
someone say ..... POWER / WEIGHT RATIO.
i bet its seriously quick something like 750 kilo's when you strip everything in them things.

"Plans are basically simple for this one" head gasket on the B16, then strip it right out, keep it simple, coilovers, cage, 5zigen exhaust system, buckets, braces........

That's "keeping it simple" is it!

IMO a real big shame to modify it and sacrilege to strip and cage it.

Good lucky find though, well done.

Dunx

Haha cheers everyone really appreciate the words, pics will follow when i get it looking half decent! A few friends of mine have said a few choice words along the lines of "you lucky b*stard" and "if only i had found out before you...." LOL, gotta dive in and grab these opportunities as quick as you can see :D

And Dunx mate i still need to send you that £60 for those bits :( doh i keep forgetting about that!!

And yeah that little list is keeping it simple! ....you should see the EG build, the parts are just epic :D the EF is going to be strictly track and race action and the EG is for show, the EG is too good for racing lol, the EF is born to race come on!
