This looks like a VERY good series for people wanting to race with a small budget!:naughty:

I wish this was two years ago or two years down the line & i would have been all over this like a rash!:((

I will be keeping an eye on this & look forward to seeing some civic racing next year!:drive:

ooooops think i put this in the wrong section

I have merged both of your threads togeather!:nice:

Humm this looks very interesting indeed, i could be another interested party.
Keep us informed.
Thanks Dunx

Shaun i have put this up on the HOT forum for you as i think there may be some intrest on there for you!:nice:

Thanks Jimbob, Provisional regs will be available at the end of the week, by the look of things there should be a grid full of cars the interest has been massive.
Iv just tried to register on HOT but it says my user name is resvered??

Do you have any dates? and am I right in thinking you can turn up for one round and hire a car?

Dates are not confirmed yet but heres the provisional calender, its not been confirmed if there will be any hire cars availablle yet, but im pretty sure there will be

Date Venue
Mar 4 Silvestone
Apr 18 Mallory Park
May 30 Snetterton
Jun 19 Castle Combe
Jul 17 Oulton Park
Aug 22 Cadwell Park
Sep 19 Mallory Park
Oct 24 Brands Hatch

so for those of us who can't commit the money or time to a full season, and assuming there is a spare car to hire, could you give us a break down of the cost for a day? thanks

If there are cars available you will be looking at £500 per race meeting, which will include practise and 2 Races.
When the Hire cars are available you will need to book your races in advance, they are sold on a first come first served basis.

I can now confirm we have hire cars available to run next year, hire of the car is £300 per meeting/day, just add fuel and tyres

does the £300 include track insurence? i.e incase you damage it?

I'll definitely be interested in doing at least one round next year so may just hire a car for the round Shaun. Will BuddyclubUK be able to arrange for insurance for entrants or will we need to arrange this ourselves? Also I'm guessing that on top of the £300 there will be costs for consumables like tyres, brakes, etc?

Jag, We will be able to put you in touch with someone for insurence we are currently taliking to a company about this, yes on top you would have consumables, tyres and fuel, I would recomend checking your available dates and reserving a place due to demand.

Iam really interested in this race.
6k for a race ready ek9 sound super cheap.
Please give me more details on this also the race b licence.
Many thank you

Race ready ek4 I think?

Also is the 170bhp flywheel or at the wheels? And who/how is it being measured? Think I may well have a go at this.

Also need a complete list of regs as far as what's allowed to be altered on the cars if possible?

see Buddyclubuk.com for regs and full details etc.. or call me on 01772 299280

The power will be measured at the flywheel not the wheels, so all EK4s will be more or less standard with only bolt on mods alowed, header, system and intake.

The licence required is national B, you will also need to join the Red Dragon Racing Club and register for the series.
