Theres been a few rumers that there is going to be an Civic Only race series starting next year, I can now confirm that this is 100% going to happen and Buddyclub UK are now in the process of building the cars, More details will follow and the rules and regulations will soon be available, Fully Built Cars Will be Available on first come first served basis for only 6k, this is a heavily subsidised price and is only made possible by the involment of the already signed up series sponsors you will also have to sign up for a years racing but at the end of the day the car is yours.

ALL CARS WILL BE AS THE PICTURE ABOUVE IN WHIT WITH LIVERYS

Just from the rumers the response has been phemominal, and i cant count the number of people asking about it when we were at lydenhill at the weekend so i thought id give you guys the heads up.

Remember the cars will all be the same power and weight with only restricted mods availble which will make it very competative and best of all affordable

Anyone interested should forward interest to shaun@buddyclubuk.com

like the look of this, interesting to see regs but long overdue over here

this looks good, been waiting for this or integra cup to happen! what are the cars? EK9's SIR's VTI's. either way should be good fun.

All cars will be As the picture all will be supplied in white with The sponsor logos, then you can add your own sponsors etc.. the cars will all be max bhp of 170bhp to start off with and a weight min. of 1150kgs, this will ensure that it will be very affordable to maintain and run it will also mean that there should be no expensive highly tuned engines running away at the front of the grid, it will be very cheap and very competative

So the only cars that can race are ones built by you?

no everyone will be welcome to enter, but you would not be able to build a car for the same price, all cars must conform to the regs and they will be very tight and restricted to keep the series competitive and budget minded, All regulation parts will be available through SPD automotive and series sponsors, all cars must also be white.

Is there any more details about this?

We are currently working on technical regs, i can 100% confirm that this is happening and will be run alongside nippon challenge, there will be at least 6 races and a european race is also on the cards maybe assen or spa, if there is anything in particular you need info on i will help best i can

Requirements for this? National B license? Skill level?

When you hire the car is it £6k for the whole season? Does this price include race and practice day?

Sorry for all these questions as I have never raced before.

Andy

Is this open to all Civic models or just EKs? If it is an EK only series, which EK?

I'd assume UK EK4, but what about JDM EK4/EK9?

Andy for 6k you own the car, you get it at this price and can only buy it at this price when you sign up for the year, its an incentive to get more people into racing.
costs for the years racing is £1500, national B is the license, There is no skill level requirment as long as you pass your ards test you good to go.

There will be 2 races per day and practise, there will also be reverse grids

So in total it will be £7500 for a years racing + car. This is excluding tyres, petrol parts etc and your racing gear + license?

Basically yes, cars will come with new federal RSR Smei slicks and replacements will be available upon production of your race license at a heavily discounted price, there will also be support available at each event from Team Buddyclub to help beginers with driver tuition and setting up the cars

who will this be open to? I presume only experienced racers?

Everyone is welcome at all experience levels, the only requirements are that you pass your ards test and apply for your national B license,
We can help with tuition and applying for licenses etc..

One other question, if you do buy a car, is the car road legal? Does buddyclub bring the cars to each event until the end of the season?
