I MAY be creating some glass fibre intake elbows, they wont be carbon, but should be around £35 if all goes to plan

I'm sure it works with oem intake. Just not the whale ***** one.
 
great idea mate if i had still had my ek i would have taken one these should sell very quickly as long as quality is good
 
I would love to get these powder coated and i will see about getting it done but the cost will be higher though.I was trying to make parts that are affordable, because parts for jap cars we all know is stupidly high.

Would anyone be interested in low sitting subframes? I made a set for my civic and there sooo much and sit really nice.
 
i got my tegiwa one, it fits really well but there 2 parts combat each other (power chamber and this) going to have to cut the down my brake stopper i think

if you want buddy i can get a picture of where the whale intake rubs on the tegiwa stopper.... that way you can make it to fit with the whale intake and that actually gives you a nieche in the market...as you can advertise.

that rear strut looks good.. how much are you thinking of charging for them...
 
well if more than one can take photo's of where its going wrong on the stopper thats fine and will give me a better view of what need sorting.

As for the price of the rear brace id say around £45 ish may be a little more if powder coated i dont know yet,not defo but i feel thats pretty decent price as iv got get all the material n spend time ensureing each one is perfect and triat fit them all.
 
If it's a really rigid bar then it's a steal if you ask me :nice:
 
I will do some tests and find out the exactly how much force is needed to deform the strut, and im pretty confident that it can take alot more that the car can throw at it. I did some rough calculations (young's modulus) before i made it and i was happy and thats why its here now :)


Tbh you can feel how solid and strong it is by just holding it in comparison with other braces
 
its HCS 2.5mm tube with a 1.5mm plate renforced with 3mm thick steel where the tube joins ( im pretty sure thats the spec but i may be wrong but i can find out later today)

haha this made me laugh, iv been racking my brains of a name, by they all seem to be abit gay!

on the other hand, my mum just brought me a new arc activation welding mask :D
