Brake stopper,REP what you guys think?

Well guys I decided to make a copy of the tegiwa brake stopper, depending if people are interested i may be able to create some on the cheap. Tryed and tested on both my civics and fitter perfect :D

Well here it is, Need to get some differnt bolts for the, Some nice stainless allen heads :)

If its better than tegiwa you'll sell loads mate,

Mine (Tegiwa) is a pretty poor fit so if you say your's is a good fit i may well take one of you in the future..

You weld it yourself ?? who made it.

I would be interested as I never got tegiwa mainly because of only colour they do is blue, an fitment issues as above, what price you lookin?
 
One thing I noticed about the tegiwa ones is I had to grind a fair bit off when I fitted my whales c#ck induction kit. Still works the same, might be an idea if you could make them so it'll fit no probs with the induction kit ?

Well iv got a tegiwa one and in my opinion it fitts better and it more central to the center of the master cylinder.

I can get some pics fitted later :)

And yess i welded and made the whole thing my self. I can also make a civic strut brace which tbh i think is better than some braces on the market at the moe.

just dont make a replica of tegiwas on becuase they are extremelly poor!

but if it fits and doesnt have any nasty welds or really reallly bad painting like the tegiwa ones they will sell great!
 
Didnt expect so much responce! Well I need to create another one, iv got a few better design idea's and need to work out a few equations to ensure its doing it job properly :)

What sort of colours where you guys thinking of?.....The picture above is a prototype and the paint job isnt amazing but i can work on that.
 
That bar looks great too. No hinges that make it weak and good bolt on points.
 
Rear strut looks good to, if prices are right on both items & quality is good then you could be an in demand person :)
 
Yess,i designed the strut brace to actually work haha, i looked in to various different designs and there's alot of braces out there that simply dont work. There just a gimick, something that looks nice which is far enough.

I can atually tell the rear brace has stiffened up the rear end and you can also fit mine and still use other braces at the same time ;)

Iv got a dc sports brace and i can phyically flex that my self, youv got no chance of doing that with mine :D

I have taken a pic of my stopper next to a tegiwa one to compare. Also not to slate the tegiwa one but has anyone noticed there is abit of slack in the hole where to bolt goes? This will simply allow movement even when tightened by the bolts and allow flex :/ so i used a theaded nut to ensure a mechanical connection, although i will use a locking nut also

Looks good, I'm just about to get a refund from tegiwa as their stopper won't fit with their intake.

Well, I assume if he can make a profitable business out of it he will want to support this great community and become a vendor ;)
 
Have you got a picture of your one fitted on your car? If it fits perfectly and at a good price I would be interested in it.
 
This looks very good, I'm glad there are still people out there who can do a really good job, too much shite out there these days... I might be interested in both if the price is right, would prefer both just primed if possible?
 
yeah, as said before mate parts look good i'd take both of them in a heartbeat ;)

With vendor status you'll make a small fortune on here :D

haha i was waiting till id hear from you! :))

Well at the moment this is not a forsale thread but i am pretty im going to make one soon and become a vendor. I have also go a few more parts to be revelled very :D
