Description:Hi
For sale is my Jap import 1998 Honda Civic.
If you are looking for a rust free clean ek shaped civic then this is as close as it gets. The car was only imported in 2008 and completely rust free. The underneath, the sills, the arches, the engine bay, behind the bumpers is just like it left the factory. I have loads of photos to show how clean it is and i welcome any inspection.
The car originally had a JDM 1.5 d15 vtec. However i have done a 1998 JDM Integra type r B18C conversion on the car. The B18c has 79xxx miles on it and has recently just had full oil and filter change and new NGK iridiums. It is a very healthy engine and does not smoke or burn oil, you can come and see for yourself. It has the s80 4.7 fd which is crunch free and has also just had Honda MTF oil replaced. The car has been dry stored since December and from then until just two weeks ago when car passed its MOT first time, i have carried out the conversion and done lots of other modifications like install DC2 subframe and rack, avid engine mounts and loads more.
I wash the car very regularly, at least 3- 4 times a week and wax the car twice a month. I recently just clayed the whole car, machine polished it with auto glym super resin, removed holograms with 3M ultra finesse and then waxed it with Dodo Juice Soft wax.
The clocks are currently reading 99xxxkm which converts to 63xxx miles and this wont increase much as car is used just for going short distance to and from work.
The car comes with all original japanese owner manuals and jap service documents which is rare and has a Full years MOT and 6 Months tax.
The few things letting the car down is:
- a few car door dings on both doors, but nothing a dent specialist couldn't put right.
- mark on the boot where old civic badge was but easily painted
- slight scrape on carbon lip (drivers side)

With the 5 stud conversion, the side skirts and bumps strips painted and set of recaros this car would nearly be perfect. It really is a great base with nearly everything you would want in an ek, I could break the car and probably make more at it but that is time and effort and would love to see an enthusiast take over and make it the finished piece.
