b20b block b16b had maximum Rpm???

For stock b20 bottom end I personally put limiter at 8200.

I have got this setup, stock B20 bottom end and stock B16b head, peak power when N/A was at 7600rpm so got limit at 8000rpm

Just let the mapper tell you after the rolling road tune.

is it a big chance of "exploding" if i let it run 9000? in fifth gear my car peaks maximum speed at 8500rpm- 190km/h. it is not enough on to places at our circuit, i have to stop pulling gas or let it run untill 9000 rpm.

You run the risk of the stock rod bolts failing. Fit a set of ARP rod bolts if you want to rev that high. Also it would be a good idea to have the b20 crank balanced as it was never designed to see 9000rpm.

Change your final drive not your rev limit!

That's what I would go with, B20s aren't meant to rev that high as stock, but the extra torque will pull a longer final drive quite nicely.

Minium mods to get them to rev to 8500 kinda safe is
arp rod bolts. and bigger injectors.

Good shout on the injectors, standard are 240cc IIRC, probably good for 7k max on a B20?

Never heard of people putting rpm limits on injectors before..........

The faster you spin the engine, the more the duty cycle increases. How much past 100% can you go? At some point, they're maxed out, the fuel mixture leans out and the power drops.

As far as I understand it, they aren't limited by RPM, but they can limit the RPM.

Stock 240cc B/D series injector can rev 7500 rpm easy.
prelude injector need remap or chip again.
