Mainly gauging interest. If I can't sell my car complete for the now 7K asking price I'm considering De-modding it somewhat and keeping it a while longer.

Would anyone be interested in swapping there Stock B16B with inlet etc & Pre-facelift ECU & Stock B16B Manifold

For my

B18C6 with Part Shaved/ Custom colour rocker cover, Toda Flywheel, Skunk 2 Inlet mani, B18C throttle Body, Hondata thermal Gasket, SPOON ECU & TODA V2 4-2-1 Header, New Water Pump & Fresh Cambelt.


With £1850ono My Way?!?

Out of my price range but just out of interest what power was that set-up making?
 
I never had it rolling roaded if i'm honest mate, It had that and a Mugen style CAI induction. Standard internals but it pulled very strong right to the limiter at 9k @ 140mph!

B16B's are still worth good money.

I'm with nuno, after all you strip back the toda header and its only a completely stock c6 ..
 
True, But it come with a new inlet manifold, Toda exhaust, spoon ecu, toda flywheel, hondata gasket, and is a nice b18 that still pulls strong, I could sell the bits off it for £1000 with ease I'd have thought. Plus the piece of mind its just had a new cambelt, new water pump all fitted.

Just an offer. As ideally its not something i wanted to do anyways matey its just if things get desperate! If they did, I would probably take £16-700

just out of interest, as I'm a new member and in the market for a B18c

also have a nice b16b here :))
 
I got the engine for a grand off a mate before it had cambelt done / new tensioner & Water pump etc, also has a baffled sump. Its covered about 4k since i've owned it and had about 5 oil changes
 
ok im with you, so then you added all ur own bits to it after that then yer?
 
i see what you saying buddy, but say 1k for b16b with ecu etc MINIUM = 2.5-2.6k as a return for your b18 an parts. thats without gearbox or driveshafts or mounts etc.

IMHO a realistic figure of b16b n parts + grand max is about right.

just as an idea i picked up a uk spec dc2 for £1850 last month, roppey bodywork but engine and box pulled hard as nails.

I think people don't realise the awesomeness, power and value of the Toda header...

Toda header is actually made of crushed Diamonds don't you know......

In all honesty it is an amazing header though, The comparison between that and my previous FEEL's manifold was second to none! Was really surprised that it made such a difference.& its in 10/10 Condition (only discolored from use, no dents / scratches etc)
