well were do i start ive got a turbo manifold an a gt35r turbo. going to Forged the engine but what will the liners stand in bhp was looking 400+bhp or am my dreaming. can any one help or has some ran the same turbo thanks

Ive seen in magazines a b16a take 500whp, but as the company said
"for how long?"

are you wanting 400 wheel or fly? as a b18c wil hapilly run 400 fly, dunno how long it will last 400wheel???

im running a b20 with paper thin liners at 300whp at 12psi with a T3/04

b16a 500bhp must be lines put in her. round about the 400 bhp on high boost then what ever on low boost. then what size injector u using? an clutch buddy?

Lol so it's going to last as long as it last then. Well as long as I get some fun out of it :)

The limit of the oem sleeve is aprox 1.5 bar.
With good tuning and a healthy turbo set up you can achieve 400Hp at fly easy.
GT35R is a very good turbo but look also the 3071 or 3076.
From the hot side A/R of the turbo you must choose the correct exhaust manifold.
Everything from log to ramhorn should be fine for this Hp target.

As I told you above, with a good set up you can push the B18 to 400hp range at 1.0-1.3 bar.

Its not boost that breaks sleeves its cylinder pressure/ pure power or if tuned badly det. Remember 1.5 bar from a t25 will be very diffrent from the 1.5 bar made by a gt42.

This is true, but in reality the 1.5 bar is the main limit for a 'common' set up.
T25 on b18 engine is very small and from the other hand the GT42 owner on the same engine can not wait to work with oem sleeves...
A b18 with GT3071 for example, is an ordinary set up and I totally agree with your opinion that good tunning can move the limit further or lower..
