b16a feels bit slow after driving k20

But yes you are right, there is no room under the bonnets in ep3 or dc5, but I hardly mess aroundt under there bonnet apart from oil chance etc

B series and k series are both amazing, most over cars I go in I think to myself how boring is this without vtec

loads of room in a f20c engine bay

Yeah that's right I agree, but, one problem....... shite engine.

Helped a friend swap a JDM F20 (which had problems) into his UK S2000 (which also had engine problems), then the UK engine back into the other S2000 so he could sell it..... bottom end went on the JDM engine and then there were problems with the UK engine. We're talking two S2000's with under 100k miles and full service history on both!......Excellent engines! I think not!

Then we thought, hmmm that has to be rare.... not at all, common for the bottom ends to go and that. Useless engine!!

There's not really much compares to a B-series or a H-series. You can't go far wrong with either!

Only the 09 engines are known for spinning bearings.
I've never had an issue with mine.common faults are timing chain tensioners and that's about it engine wise?

where did that come from?

s2ks on the mind

not sure about useless they can take 500bhp on a stock unopened lump, in the state's guys are running 700bhp plus with just a HG and ARP bolts

let's see a b or k do that lol

yeah ive read up on the later s2000 engines failing, apparently the early s2000 engines are the ones to go for, mines done 98k and is smooth as a hard cock going into a moist vagina!

and man thats smooth:naughty:

f20 engine the best honda have made for a road car?

Problem is they stuck it in a 1200+kg body. Makes them alittle numb for my liking in the lower rpms. Up to about 5krpm.
120hp per litre is good going tho

the s2000 maybe heavy but it would be almost as quick round the nurburgring as a nsx, the honda man in the waiter shoes even said so himself!

Yeah they are capable for sure. But to improve on them takes big dollar, they are a middle class rich mans toy.
To which I've found out recently. Everyone I've meet with one is alittle too snobbish for my liking.
Asin face to face meeting.
