Sorry to crap your thread B16 Mini. Is that yellow one yours aswell then? I'm in the mood for buying another Mini now... Hard to come by without rust.

yeah the yellow one is mine also, built it 5-6 years ago, was a low comp 1380 a series turbo, with straight cut gears, everyone used to think i had gearbox problems:angry:

now its pretty much stripped for bits for this build,

Think dunk on here had a imported mini for sale,
"rust free"......:nice:

Think its a Turbo one Dunc has for sale ! Well from what little i have seen in the backround of Ek9 snaps lol

just to confirm, the last picture of the orange mini with front end is another build, belonging to some one else, its random how both cars are built very similar,

Good minds must think alike:clap:
 
Dont suppose any of you guys know of a fairly original mk1 or poss mk2 Cooper for sale do you. I am looking for one as another toy.

I may poss consider selling my old clubman, ideal for VTEC conversion as there is NO rust in her. Been in storage for nearly 20 years now! I did only say MAY consider ;-)

Did some great work with the angle grinder Dunk. I guess you gave Spoon some ideas lol. How did you go about strengthening her then when you took the roof off?

Any updated on this b16_mini?
 
should have some updates soon been busy with making a inlet manifold for ITB's and sorting the wire loom,

should have some body panels soon also, finally got a call saying they were made:)

new wheels should also be here soon, will take more pics soon:nice:
 
bonnet, wings, doors, rear valance and boot will be fibreglass, carbon fibre arches and bumpers:naughty:

windows will be perspex. keeping it light as possible

Damn man! You would be able to pick this up. You going to Castle Coombe this year by anychance on the Mini world / magazine event? Think it's next month.
