MTF + Friction Modifier as needed
Gear Oil is a lot thicker than Transmission Fluid; this is why you are hearing less noise. Coupled with a tonne of friction modifier, you now have a silent, clunkless LSD that you could have achieved the same result with by going for a maintenance free Helical LSD as well as getting a better shifting transmission at the same time.
Transmission Fluid doesn't have a rating; only gear oil does. Torco MTF is based off the OEM MTF + additional additives. It is the same viscosity as 10w30 motor oil.
