Aftermarket exhaust system recommendation

OK,

I am after recommendations on an EK9 aftermarket exhaust system, full CAT back system not just a back box, but it has to meet the following criteria if possible.

-No louder or not that much louder that stock while on tick over of before VTEC engagement.

-Sounds nicer than the stock exhaust system in VTEC :D

-Has proven gains, which can be from personal experience.

-Full CAT back system

After having a stock exhaust and getting rides with modified EK9's with aftermarket systems, I just don't want the loudness anymore. I must be getting old.

Any thoughts guys?
 
Only two systems will meet the noise level you want imo, Fujitsubo Legalis R & Twinloop.
 
I have the Fuji, car revs freely, I use it for commute - 2hr drive, touch louder than stock but louder in vtec, perfect.
 
Got the RM01A Fujitsubu on mine a bit loud with the standard manifold on but with the 5zigen sounds good. Sound in V-Tec is spot on, like haitch said prob best to get a twin loop.
 
twin loop is the best one only thing is its probably the most expensive. i only have the back box but like he said it has free'd up some power low down and is actually as quiet as stock at tick over tbh.
don't know about the mugen centre piece but i will be looking for one soon aswell so will let you know if i purchase.
i'm after power with subtlety, one reason..... so cops don't pull out their camera's a mile away to catch me as they'll hear me before they can see me . lol
 
Twinloop isn't that quiet with a de-cat. If I was to get another one I'd consider a sports cat, or leave the standard cat on.

Get the Full Vtec exerience man! Get a Decat and a spoon N1!

On these fast hondas i think a nice loud racey sound it sweet.

Before vtec though you can get drowny exhausts that sounds gash.
 
I have no future plans to remove the CAT for MOT purposes. Can't be arsed swapping around when it comes to the MOT test.

Twin loop seems to be a popular suggestion. Wonder how much the full system is? :secret:
 
your best trying to source a second hand system as new is mega expensive

Manifold and de-cat makes it a lot louder. My old one:

I've actually just bought a Spoon N1 from ebay as i'm bored of the stock exhaust - dunno whether to fit it or sell it..
 
Haha if you don't want something much louder than stock then don't get a Spoon N1, i have the full cat back with a Fujitsubo manifold and standard cat, pops and bangs when you come off throttle and SCREAMS in vtec

i love it though :D

Standardish sound though try a spoon street exhaust, twin loops are heavy systems
