Hi Folks
I've noticed a few drips of water getting in to the passenger side when we've had HEAVY rain or after power washing.
I first noticed a couple of drips on the forward part of the speaker grill and down onto the door sill, and yesterday while no drips were visible but it had rained and I had cleaned it and I felt up under the outside edge (closest to the passenger door) of the glove box and there again was one or two drips....

So the question is where might it be getting in?.....the passenger wing mirror was replaced when it was imported as it wasn't folding properly could it be the seal around this??

Any help or pointers would be massively appreciated

Will more than likely be a seal around the window or as said the mirror. I have the same issue on mine but coming from the window seal from having the wind deflectors fitted, do need to address that soon or try and get new seals as mine seem brittle now due to age.

I have a massive puddle that forms in the passenger footwell. It's actually really alarming how much water gathers in such a short time. I've tried everything to find out where it's Coming in. I can only think its the windscreen seal now.

Best thing to do would be to sit in the car and get a mate to rinse the suspect area with a hose pipe, then spot where it comes in.
You can get a clever bit of kit that fills the cabin up with smoke and you can see from the outside any smoke leaking from a seal etc.

Pop the A pillar plastic trim off and check underneath and around there for signs of water leaks, the sealant on the roof where the roof joins with the rest of the body cracks and lets water in...

As oifovo says, top of the windscreen underneath the little black rails in the roof the sealant cracks and let's water in.
I've also seen one of mine leak from where the blower pulls outside air from.
Would explain the footwell filling up.
To see this you must remove the blower etc and reach up inside the hole.

I had a similar type issue in my EM1. Kind of came and went though. Think t might have been coming from the corner windscreen. Kind of went mad with the tiger seal and it stopped.

Honestly mate, I've tried everything to find the leak. I've had someone blast the side/windscreen area whilst I'm inside and nothing shows up, 20 mins/half hour later there is a little puddle. No signs of it trickling down from anywhere either. It just forms in the footwell.

Could be coming through the inner sills @LiamEk9 . Or likely up behind the heater blower,

Best option is to tuck tissue around everywhere then soak the outside of the car and leave it,

Come back later and see where the tissue is wet, should help locate the area.

Small leaks can be really hard to see just by eye

Thanks for all the replies folks and the pointers, lots for me to work on....
@LiamEk9 mate i hope you get it sorted, mine is literally a couple of drips after serious rain or pressure washing.....but a couple drips too many
I'm going to investigate top left corner of windscreen and the sealant under the trim as i know from the very slight fading of the rear badge this car must have sat in the sun on the passenger side for some of its life imo..passenger door window trim looks slightly tired too...

None of this detracts from my shear joy, fun and pride of owning this cracking little car :))
