Ive always bene put of an ek9 due to insurance however last friday i decided to buy one.
Im 20 with only 1 years ncb and my insurance was only £1034
couldnt of been more pleased with this from bell.co.uk :D

That's brilliant, mine is up for renewal next week, it's more than your's and it's only an ej9 :(

Seems insurance is harder in england? Whatever happened to adrian flux? Thought they were good for young drivers accordin to max power magazines back in the day?ha

Pfft, Adrian Flux weren't particularly cheap for me, I'm still trying to insure my EJ9 and the lowest I've had so far is £1,500. (That's bein' 21, No no claims, 0 years driving.) :(

im 19, at present i can insure a 2000 plate , ek9 , with 2 years no claims and 1 accident for £1200.

this drops ALOT when i turn 20 next month.

i do not live in a quiet area, and this also with Bell.

People add a second driver on your policy preferably felame and older im 33 and my mum 53 added her on my ek9 policy reduced it by £100

Even tho she may never drive it , it's fully legal

did you use a reg on specify the make and model, id double check incase its done as something else as that is very cheap

forgot to add, got my nan as a named driver and my dads missus.

just because there named drivers DOESNT mean they HAVE to drive the car... just means they can if they have to / want to .

Play around with named drivers til you get a good quote, my dads a traffic copper with a full advanced driving licence and when i put him on my insurance it goes up !? mad eh

Just keep trying different combinations of people, after 2 people added as named drivers it doesnt go down anymore for me. good luck guys

I'm 20, 2 years ncb. Driving 3 years.

I can get under a VTI for £850 for 10months.

My SiR is which is effectively an import VTI is £1250.

EK9 and SiR are coming up the same price for me :((. lol

But my Lupo daily is coming up at £470. Boom!

Need to get insurance sorted next month!

My renewal came in for my ek4(b18) on Monday, £748 at 24, 2yrs no claims and 6 points, paying annually with elephant.
I have my mum on as a name driver, took my first policy down by nearly £600.
Yet I'm £1500 on a 51 plate transit. Insurance It's crazy, i don't think they even know how it works.

Those are some low prices i got quoted £1500 for my vti at 19 with 2yrs driving and 2yrs ncb living in a good postcode with mum as a named driver and only a few companies would even give me a quote. I swear they just randomly pick numbers.
