Exactly the same as me; SiR import was the exact same price per year as it was with the nine. Kinda put me off ever wanting a SiR despite it being 1-2k cheaper.
 
My old EK9 I was insured at 19, in Wembley which is a terrible area - no NCB for £1600 fully comp!
 
something must be wrong here if people at 19 can insure a 9 for 1200 etc i would check it like the lads have said most people wont even quote me on it 20 3yrs ncb 8k a year mum on the policy and parked in a garage wtf ? someone must be tellin porkys to the insurance lot ! hopeing that when sky fone back tomorow they give me a good quote ...if not then a 9 is out the window dont know where else to try although im not to optimisitc as a 20y/o classed as a young driver we dont even have a chance to prove ourselfs because we are all tarred with the one brush !!
 
Im 21,3 years no claims and im £642 for my ek9 with admiral. Was £1100 for my mk4 ibiza cupra at 20 with them,and £1487 for my nurburgring astra vxr at 19.....admiral must love me! Haha
 
Sky wouldn't touch me, adrian flux didn't give me a quote either.

however, with elephant i was insured on my Ek9 for under 1300...

then when i turned 20, with bell for 1100.

massively depends on your area, no claims etc :)
 
ok someone please help me i live in ascot i got 1 years NC iv never had a crash im 20 years old and been driving for 3 years i got no convictions or anything. i got my mum as a named driver whoz got a full clean license.

The cheapist i can get is £7000..... were am i going wrong????

im buying a EK9 soon i dont care if its like £3500 or something just something that i can actually afford
 
Ive been looking at quotes, for 2 years driving 1 ncb and at age 19 & 8 months it will be £1300 but with points it increases to 1600 :( my area for insurance is group E which i think is on the higher end :(
 
From Southampton, car is listed on my insurance as honda civic ek9 type r import, got 4000 annual miles, got my mum and dad as second drivers. renewal come through this year, me now being 21 and it was 714 fully comp :D
 
Im paying £780 this year at 22 with 4 years ncb and 8 points, all mods declared
Was happy with that, made me double check if it right checked paperwork and all was good so happy days
 
My last renewal was in October (so I was 22)

I had 6yr NCB because I have always been with Elephant and I used their 10 month bonus accelerator do got it a bit quicker. (Can only use 5yrs NCB anywhere else)

Anyway...
