15 need a ek9 please help


Seriously, to not have an accident you need to be able to keep your car under control. The more experience you have the more control you have. The faster the car the more control you need to have. You do the math.

seriously i have a 1.4 and it is my first car and it is alot of fun. yeah i want a ek9 now because i know my limits and i know how to drive well.
you will be mad getting anything over a 1.4 as your first car.
 
my dad has a fn2 i aint that clueless

ive been in that down driveway so i know what its like to handle 189 bhp
if ive handled 207 bhp (its got a grupee m induction kit)

This has got to be a joke. Very funny you def ruffled some feathers :nice:

If not you are as said before clueless and take the advise being given. People aren't trying to be nasty just thinking of the safety others and yourself and the condition a very nice n rare car could be left in after a new driver has got there hands on it. Don't take it personally anybody your age would most likely be told the same.

I would say just hang about on here learn a few things about the ek9 get yourself a nice 1.4 ek look after it and then when youve got your experiance you will appriciate it so much more.

A decent ek9 Around £5000-£8000

So in total £9,000-£13,000

What a waste of money seen as the car prob aint gonna last a year as he has felt the raw power of the FN2 in the 5yrds length of the drive.

Seriously, my 1st car was a H reg fiesta in blue, And all it had was 4 Gears.
Then gradually ive gotten faster and bigger engined cars. Im 26 now and have a 1.6 VTI-S. a big jump from a 1.0litre. Heck i even drive a 3.0 litre twin turbo supra and thats a bit of an animal to drive. but ive learned to drive it with EXPERIANCE. Trust me its the best thing to do, we just want people to be safe, not trying to put you down. Just try and see sense before something goes wrong and someone gets killed.
 
How is taking a car down a driveway "handling" 198bhp....


I've had an EK9 at 19 for about 3 months now and I still don't feel confident taking it to it's limit.

Through comparison, at 15 you will more than likely kill yourself and/or someone else with no driving experience.

hell my first car was a saxo VTS and i know i done the same, i would have been classed as a boy racer but with age comes experience and i would call myself an enthusiast now not a boy racer

enthusiast take care of and respect their cars

boy racers drive the dung out of their cars when there cold and do big dumb burnouts
 
is no1 worried about the fact that hes guna wreck a car thats not being built anymore? if hes that simple talk him into killing himself in a different car atleast... loved the driveway note tho... bet his dad sh!ts himself at that alone lol... I don't see what's so bad about a first timer having an EK9, I think a lot
of you are exaggerating the speed a bit.

What about all the rich kids driving round in M3's, EVO's etc? They don't end
up "wrapped around a tree"

If the kid wants an EK9, what's the problem?

talking like that wont make u very popular on this site.like ur turning 16 noway could u control 180bhp.not a hope kid.start small and try get no claims.if ur parents are that good ask them too pay for my engine job

this happened outside my house to the BP station, they made a wall to stop cutting through to my road from the main road but everyone didnt actually want it. the first night it was finished someone got a big paint brush and a lot of white paint and wrote "I TOLD YOU SO", I laughed so hard
