well im aiming for 315whp-350 whp tuning at 9-10 psi. its a turbonetics 60 trim full kit.

was up guys, im here asking the great community of ek9 about turbo. i have a 2000 ek coupe, gsr swap in it. pretty quick, i want faster. the gsr is stock that i know off, but to be honest runs like hell. i beat a b20vtec ek. im thinking of dropping a turbo kit on it, and keep it at safe 8psi...

Ok guys here is the deal. ik have a b18c-r. idk whats going on, but i lose oil rapidly. i tried 10w-40 royal purple and it helped. then i put 10w-30 mobil 1 full synthetic extnd perf. and it was ok. i dont smoke at start up so is not the seals. i dont smoke 24/7 so i dont have bad piston rings...

believe me, i did put castrol 10w-30 high mileage in my type r b18c, almost blew it up, because it only gave me 1k miles on a full oil change....only 1k, bich was dried where vtec wouldnt cross over....switched to royal purple, was wayyyyy better...didnt like the oil alot, so now im on mobil 1...

but dont a jdm type r b18c come with 200hp to the flywheel, then 20-30% power train loss...puts me at 170-175 wheel horse power?? stock?...with my mods i should be a little higher i would think...engine is fine...just a lil of burnin oil like a quart every 600 miles...other than...

the engine is a b18c-r 96 spec. (its a 97) tho after a good tune i should be at 190 to da wheels or so huh? i know u said 190 for a b16b, but thas probably to the flywheel u meant. i thought adjustable cam gears made a difference when u retard them cam gears? also im assuiming my intake...

I had 10w-40 when I was using royal purple. Felt ok, with mobil 1 feels alot stronger. After pushing it for a while yesterday and a few days, oil level seems to be the same. Let's just see what happens lol. Thx for all the help everybody...

i get that type r burn oil as it is. this is my problem tho. last oil change i only got 2,500 miles out of it before i was empty to the floor. that was on royal purple and i hesard that **** sucks on hondas. so i go with mobil 1, now WHAT I HAVE SEEN, NOT SURE...smokes in hot/warm weather...

basically what im tryna say is or come to think,it smokes in hot/warm weather past 8k rpms because is so hot the viscosity of the oil changes, and them hy\tech headers arent a joke..i can litearlly cook bbq under my hood lol. now in cool weather, the oil is much cooler and maybe its causing it...

Well I just figured this chain. The day it wasn't smoking it was cool evening outside around 6-7pm, that same day around 4-5pm it smoked. Today is the reason I posted this up is because it was smoking again in warm, hot weather. Now I just went tested it a few times now that it's cool outside...

I just added Mobile 1 Extended Performance 10w-30 full synthetic to my b18c-r. However I noticed I had oil consumption pretty bad from the last oil change, so I went with Mobile 1. I ran the car yesterday and it wasn't smoking at all, had someone sit behind and still nothing at all, however is...
