b18c ek9 220+bhp

man im 100% they have 6month warrenty on rebuilds

thats a really poor warranty, a couple of builders i know for rotary engines are giving 2 years or 24000 mile warranty, even on large power builds, INCLUDING drag drift and track days! thats build confidence!!

shouldnt matter if its a new owner, fact is, the engines been built and not to a good quality if its broke so early. perhaps the company who has built the new spec engine could approach the other company on your behalf, and provide them with the evidence found when dismantling the old build??

you might not get a refund, or a replacement, but you may get something

gutted for you though, huge costs

printout after the mapping was corrected

so aim is to get 225+ save

What was the spec of engine for top dyno sheet?

leek9s old spec

why is the torque line so flat ? i thought it was a bit weird

leigh tried and emailed them but i think he never got replied

momentum motorsport showed me bits of damage and showed me how tight some bolts were ive never built a engine (will in the future) but it didnt look like a good job thinks like wiring look chucked in and being caught on brackets etc

So that was with the spec b cams and remapped by momentum motorsport? Did it have the high comp pistons that time?

you've clearly never dealt with robble thornton or TDP LOL

no it wasnt really mapped he was a friend who basically pulled out some ignition as it was pinging ? (" is thats how you spell it ") and corrected the fueling then a week or 2 after i was going to get it mapped correctly but it was to far damaged

momentum will be mapping it this week and i will post up figures and thought

think that of him myself tbh as everyone goes on about him but from what i have seen no hes to hoped up on skylines and evo and rallybuild

so long story short im left out of pocket for a rebuild

that was destroyed by a **** map

i did ask tdp several times and was told that it was the new owners fault in some way

but i will warn you guys that throwing round accusations about TDP will see you in front of a judge

they claim to have the skill and knowledge but when they get it wrong and get criticism they shut you up with legal warnings

they'll soon find out that if you dont care for your customers you'll soon be without them! Leigh its good to see you on here every once and a while hows the rwd experience going?

leigh the cant really force legal action il pm you

I thought it was Michael that said about the engine being thrown together? Was he not the one that mentioned the death rattle to you? Some money spent buyin this car for it to end so soon, then alot of money being spunked into it to put it right. Seriously bad luck. You coulda built your own from scratch for the money youve now spent on this one.

nope i said to mike then he came out the side it it sounds like the rod bearings are starving of oil possibly cuz the oil pump was stock on 15w oil said it would be ok few days later it was getting worse he agreed

money wise i couldnt have nearly came close as a clean ek9 is 6 plus buying everything its my old now but once i get stickers etc off

the chaps an absolute tosser. no two ways about it. he gets away with so much stuff and if anything is mentioned on an irish forum they are threntened with legal action its an absolute joke.

i've talked two 4 people over the past three days who have had honda's mapped off him and have been very unhappy with the work and really unhappy with there after sales service.

thats bull ****. the amount of pm's that **** sends to people saying he will sue them is off the wall. at the end of the day if u know ur rights and know what ur saying he can't sue anybody.

he sent me a message on dtd saying he would sue me for asking did he map somebodys car. i told him to f**k off and if he pm'd me again i'd get onto an admin about him harrising me. i haven't heard from him since
