Saw a similar thread on CL, and thought lets do one here, I did search and couldn't find an existing thread so apologies if it's been covered previously.

My friends and I are always seeing different results from similar setups so would be interesting to see what people are making, so as above state your engine, power results and if possible what parts its running and where it was tested! :nice:

Mine,

'96 B18CR (EK4)

GReddy 4-2-1 (2" collector)
buddy club spec 3, decat
skunk2 inlet
spoon 70mm tb
injen cai
3.3KG Clutchmasters flywheel

stock p73

202.3 bhp @ Surrey Rolling Road (Dyno Dymanics)

dyno results differ so much from one to another, imo this is pointless unless all of the cars were dyno'd on one dyno.

Its not accurate, so kinda bluntly said (I'm sorry) Whats the point as it will have no relevance to your setup

If you have a problem with it, you don't have to post, it's quite simple :please:

True. My mate got his car dyno'd at 194bhp and my other mate (on a different dyno) 172bhp.

On the road the 172bhp car left the 194bhp car. Both cars were EK4 with b16a2 and similar mods.

Do agree with wazer but might aswell for a bit of fun.

B16b

Mugen intake
Spoon 421 1-piece manifold
Spoon n1 - decat
Toda flywheel.

Made 193.8

True about different dynos giving different results. My stock b16 with only intake headers exhaust made 202bhp on the dyno lmao.
And when I had my d14, that made 130 bhp with just a d16 intake mani and I/H/E.
On a different dyno, my d14 would have been lucky to make 100 and my b16 would be lucky to make 175.

But that's dyno's for you. In reality my car always felt like it had the higher power the dyno said it had, as it has always been fully stripped and weighed about 970kg.
When I tell people who know their hondas that my b16 made 202hp, they just laugh at me. But when it comes to putting their money where their mouth is, they aren't so confident, because, power to weight, it is pretty quick.

Better delete your non relevant figures from your signature:lol:

DIY mate. All you you need is a torque wrench on either wheel and a rpm meter ;)
