Seem to be a flood of people selling there motors at the mo!

Why? Just keep it! :please:

For me, i always wanted a EK9 (was my dream car to get) have now owned it for a while, and then always wanted a Mazda FD3S RX7 which i am looking into :)

I agree with this thread.

I was selling due to other circumstances but not anymore. EK9 was always one of my dream cars and nothings changed. I dont like selling cars i put alot of effort into.

Glad i'm not the only one! :secret:

You've only been on the road since august! Your mad!

I know, just fancy a turbo, and insurance isn't too bad which was a concern at the start...i'll still be at all the ek9.org meets

having a project car for a good few years > chopping and changing all the time

Fair enough mate. Got to do whats right for you.

I'm even suprised at JDMarron. He's only just finished the engine on it.

Sad place at the mo. Economy must be hitting some people hard.

I was just thinking this today, alot of very clean cars selling for peanuts...

Lot of cars being put up for sale indeed. Trouble is no one seem's to be buying!

I know..it pains me to put mine up for just £6500. But even at that i'm getting no interest...

It is a bargain! i originally had it up for £7000 but revised that as i thought it must be overpriced but no way am i taking less than £6500. Ill just keep it if i dont get that for it cos i've spent a fortune on that engine build!

i sold mine because it was time to go rwd.i dont know if i will ever return to fwd,the fun factor is uncompareable.the feeling when you get a good slide going and control it well is amazing.can be scary too which makes it a buzz.the ek9 was the one car id swore i would own,i owned it and couldnt afford to have 2 cars so it had to go.

I can understand why EK9's and DC2's won't shift though when you can buy a nearly new 09' Focus for less than eight grand these days.

They're not the sensible option, they're the enthusiast option.:p

But the cheaper they get the more idiot chav's will start buying them

isnt there a resession on lads?people losing jobs not able to keep up loan repayments that leads to selling the car

Maybe breaking might be an option? I may consider the B20... :nerv:

I know RWD is a siht for that! Thats why i'm not venturing into that one! Pklus the ammount of cash spent on my 9! I need to keep it for a few years!
