which will be better?

hi,
as title...which will be better performance wise?

a complete b18 itr swap, engine, gearbox, ecu, driveshfts etc

or

a b18 bottom end with my b16b head and gearbox with itr ecu?

im looking in to this as it will be cheaper for me.:nice:

opinions will be great

the latter choice is best.maybe try get 98 spec teg box with 4.785 and the manifold also youd have a quick car then.

if i was 2 get a 98 spec box will i have 2 get a 98 spec bottom end 2?
if i can get either bottom end which will be the better one 2 get?
and does the 98 spec box come standard with the 4.785 fd?

no you only need the gearbox.or you could just buy aftermarket fd if you dont come across the box.98 spec has the 4.7 standard.
 
The intake camshaft found in the b16b is the most aggresive of any B series oem honda camshaft so id go with your own head and perhaps have it skimmed abit to bump compression slighty. p73 ecu should do the trick.
 
alright scott i woz tinkin of doin something like dis aswel and didnt knw wat way woz best either llet me knw how u get on :nice:
 
does any1 know if i will have 2 change any of the loom for the block? havent had a chance 2 have a good look yet?

A b18 with ek9 pistons and your ek9 head and a tune.
