hey guys, what clutch do u think I should get? I've narrowed it down to 3. Act, spoon & cusco.

btw I'm getting an organic one bcz it's a daily driver.

act sucks, organic cant handle too much abuse, but its up to you... why not exedy?

i can get exedy for a good price, but only a three puck. wouldn't it be a bit harsh for a daily driver though?

go for either the stage 1 exedy organic or the exedy (thick) puck clutch

I have in an ACT performance street dics with heavy duty pressure plate and love it. I use to run A four puck sprung, 4 puck unsprung, 6 puck sprung, and by far the ACT street disc is the best for my NA needs. It is not as harsh as the puck clutches but grips like a raped Ape. If you are running a setup that equates to around 210-230 WHP, then this is the clutch for you. With those other clutches my dash use to shake like a magnitude 8 earthquake when I let off the clutch.

Oh, and remember there are two street disc for ACT. The Performance street disc:nice::drive: and the Organic street disc:nono:.

Go for an Ogura Clutch, an OS Giken or exedy. please not that most not-only-clutch manufacturers like Cusco etc have their clutches manufactured by Daikin clutch coorporation (better known as Exedy) so i don't think spoon clutches are made by spoon... maybe also toda have their own but not really sure...

a mate of mine who imports perfomance parts & knows a lot about b series engines recommended a cusco copper single. after doing a bit of research on it, it looks quite impressive price wise & performance wise! :drive:

I'll go for the act stage 1 complete clutch :) exedy is a good option also :)

exedy heavy duty is one damn nice clutch. I've replaced mine with these. Very smooth.
