Where to buy Ferodo DS2500? (USA)

This is Gary from BigBrakeParts (the company you emailed regarding the pads).

As I mentioned in the email I sent to you we have trouble getting them here also.

Is this a common pad for you guys there? Are you doing track days?

Hello Gary from BBP, quite surprised to see you here! :S
Its not a common pad here, its just that the JDM 96 Spec Integra Type R uses them, most people usually upgrade to 282mm setup which uses a different pad as you may know.
I however plan to keep the stock brake size of 262mm front.
Yes this fitment of pad is rare in the UK.

What are you using the car for? Track days?

Its a daily driver and a few track days next year.
I've done my research and DS2500 is what I'm after.
People have suggested the Hawk HP+ but pad life is no where near as good as DS2500.

Who told you that?

I don't think there is any significant difference between the pad life of the HP+ and the ds2500, especially on your car.

What type of life are you thinking you will get from the ferodos?

Plus most of the time people prefer DS2500 over the HP+

i'm actually located down under in australia
got the pad ages ago(about 5 days from payment date)
good pads, good price, good service :)

if you're not sure shoot them an email and see if they can help you find the right pad fitment for you
 
More to the point, where the hell can you buy Ds2500 in the UK? I can't find them anywhere? (EK4)

Ferodo pads are readily available from most places, unit-8(UK) for one.
This particular thread is concerning a pad fitment for the 96 spec integra. No other UK car shares the same pad, only the US Spec Acura Integra GSR.

Haha, sorry mate! Thought it was a broadly similar topic so no need to start a new thread.

Unit-8 do not show DS2500 for EK4, only EG6. Are these the same?
 
They should be able to get any fitment pad, email them. Even better get it from ferodo race direct.

Emailed Pole Position about possibly picking up a set next week when I fly out there, they're out of stock too! Bah!
 
FYI, EG6 pads are not the same as EK4 ones, now I have a set of useless DS2500, ****ed front pads and not enough time to get anything decent by my trackday next week.

Kozy, please may you post the part number of your pads...
 
I bought EG6 FCP777, EK4 are FCP776.

Dimensions are:

EG6 131.40 x 45.50 x 15.00 mm
EK4 136.50 x 50.10 x 16.00 mm
