What To Lower My Ek9 ???

Hey Guys...

After spending abit of money on power aspects now its time for suspension.. What would people recomend ?? I would like a nice low looking apearance, not too bumpy.. Any good spring only kits out there that would lower car nicely or best to go for coilovers ??

first establish a budget and then the cars purpose street or track. then its pretty easy to decide, im guessing your car is more street? if so then i recomend either

-tein basic damper kit
-ground control coilover springs with koni shocks

the great thing about the koni/GC set up is you can upgrade your spring rates and be ready for the track if you ever change you mind and its damning adjustable.

i suggest to stay away from seperate spring and shock becuase the car will never be lowered evenly.

dont lower it wit jus springs anyway the car will be very bouncy...if you gona do it get hardened shocks an a good lowering spring set...or go for coilovers if you want adjustability...go for tein basics if you want good street coilovers if you want track an street go for tein superstreets thats what i use in my car an i find them very good

Cheers for ur input guys... So how good are the tein ss ?? Price in uk ??? Can u lower them far to give an agressive aperance ?? Handle good on track ?? What about camber etc ???

Its just my m8 has some tanabe coilovers on his, to be honest it dosnt handle that great and the ride is as hard as a gypsy bare nuckle boxer !! lol.

u can set the damper on the tein ss so u can have it hard or soft.they are height an dampin adjustable....i usually go for hard back set up an medium front set up...lowerin is very good on them iv my civic lowered 50mm on 15" an looks aggresive on the track...the drive wit my setup is comfortable an wen u attack the corners they handle great!!...dunno how much they are in the uk but in ireland they cost me 1300e probly bout 700 or 800 sterling...worth every penny tho!!

Im not sure because they were in the car when I bought it. And its lowered about 85-90mm
