I have red shocks with yellow springs. They are not adjustable, just wondering can anybody tell me the make of these.

Sounds like koni shocks/springs, the red koni shocks are adustable but have to be removed from the car to adjust...

And I have my car the past three years, only took notice when I seen a oem set for sale on here.Might try get them off,to get a better look.

Anybody else have an idea, what the make might be.

Upgraged Honda OEM shocks are red with yellow springs.

They are Honda Access.

Does it say it on the damper or spring/ or both?

You might want to save it onto your computers and zoom in..

AFAIK the drop is 25mm -35mm other than that I dont know much about their damping or spring rates...

Il see if I can get more info on them.. They are also discontinued now..

Honda Access 5-way adjustable suspension kits are made by Showa (who also makes Mugen and I also think Spoon suspension kits).

These should only lower your car 10mm from standard oem ride height. As my car is my daily car, and with all the speed humps around where I live, going just 10mm lower suits my requirements :nice:

I'm getting mine installed next Friday at TGM :)

Pretty sure duncan was selling a set on here?

Yeah Showa makes Spoon aswell..

Any idea of spring rates??

Ya car is dropped bit in the front, but I dont think its down at all in the back.I think its a great suspension, although I have never driven a ek9 with oem shocks and springs so I cant compare.I did drive one with k-sport adjustable coilovers and it was all over the place, compared to my own.

No idea of the spring rates, but being honda access, then I would say that they wouldn't be too far from the oem spring rates.

I'll do a little write up once I get these put on :)

Had them finally installed today and it's exactly fits my needs for the EK9 :D

Living in Oxford, we have stupid amounts of speeds humps and it would be no use to me having the 9 lowered too much and as it's my everyday car, I need everyday usability. Lowers 10mm, for some people I know this isn't enough, but ideal for my needs.

The the dmapers are set to the softest setting at present and I would say this is on par or I may say, more comfortable then the OEM set-up. These are literally like driving on stock suspension, but with it lowered a tad.

At least with the adjustable damper setting, I can adjust them to a harder setting for track days :D With 5 adjustments levels, at least I won't be fiddling around all day with these :drive:
