What is the best induction Kit for an Ek?

1.Mugen
2.Comptech/CT engineering icebox
3.OEM DC2

must have been covered a million times :)

Comptech/CT engineering icebox very good intake.
I have one for sale if you need ;)

As darren said 'aluminium intake pipe , Velocity trumpet/stack and K&N filter ' you can also get a blox filter either , actually they do a velocity stack with filter package , but id also add a cold air feed to it , will have a good set up with this,
for the price and mugen and comptech i wouldnt bother
if you do want an enclosed set up though the dc2 box with a k&n filter and a good cold air feed into it should give same or dame close results as mugen/comptect , and 1/3 the price if not less, aem v2 is goold as it draws cold air but is far from the trottle body menaing it only makes power high up the revs, and can get waterlogged which is bad ,

Custom Velocity Stack Set Up !
This Is Mine , Im 197 Bhp b16b Standard Internals , Cams Etc , Just Bolt On's

OEM cams? If aftermarket, your not on standard internals btw. :nice:

No My engine is completely standard Internals , I meant it as in Cams etc that are standard , just bolt on,s and ecu , mugen twinloop cat back , decat , 5zeigen pro racer 4-2-1 manifold , Neptune ecu , Blox Velocity Stack Intake Set Up , Mapped By Vtec6000 on here think with ecu vtec 5800 and redline 9000rpm , Making power all the way just to redline , its a very health b16b ,

Thanks Ellis.

I've been doing a fair bit of searching into them these past few hours. Is that the Carbon intake J's racing kit?

There are so many and they're bloody expensive. I don't think the EK9 I'm getting is coming with an air intake and I know I'll miss the noise if I don't have one.
