To be entirely honest Honda's don't pop, crackle or garggle a great deal even with a juicy engine set-up, get a full straight through system and a de-cat and you should get at least a bit of snap, crackle and pop from the exhaust.
I'd say thats spot on the money, make sure theres no cat in there to melt and retard the ignition a good bit too.
Maybe cancel the overrun fuel cut on the ECU?

If you're igniting fuel in your exhaust then you're not making tractive power with it...
