What exhausts pop, bang and blip??

As above lads, looking for an exhaust which will sound good and pop and bang all day long?

Don't ask why, i just want one lol

my last feels exhuast system poppped and banged on the over run...
Not sure its just the exhuast that would do this though, as it had some nice cams and engine management aswell....
someone will know this for sure mate...

Put a turbo on it then it will pop and bang all day long...
had a shitty one on my starlet but i could blip the throttle at 3000rpm and it would set car alarms off massive BANG sounded like a shot gun lol. think it was due to over fueling though.
 
When I had my Spoon N1, with my custom straight through 2.5" b pipe, that would pop loads. But proper bangs with flames, I think that's un-burnt fuel vapour, which will only come from high spec cars with remaps for more fuel.. Correct me if I'm wrong!
For example, my friends nova + astra, both pop/bang/flame on over run, but they are running ITBs.
Aswell as my friends Evo, that proper bangs LOUD with huge flames. But thats a 400hp machine.

yeah lad turbo'd cars split flames and bang due to running too rich. but i think it looks and sounds unbelivable!!! :nice:


@ darragh k - ive been considering a buddyclub spec 2, but are they TOO loud??

@ henry p - what sort of spec was your ek9?

Prob anti-lag on the evo. **** bangs like crazy!

Just buy my Fujitsubo RM01A. Wont look back.

^Might as well just go to an Exhaust shop and have them make you the Straighest 2.5" pipe with a 3-3.5" Truck Exhaust tip. Same thing.
 
I saw a friends standard EF9 spit flames, entirely possible if you've got enough heat trapped in the exhaust as I heard B series run quite rich at the top end anyway. Surely you can get flames with a fairly mild B series if you properly heat wrap the entire system?

Why not buy a good free flowing exhaust rather than a noisy c-unit? Trust me spec 2's are real bad. I guarentee no matter where you are in NI ill hear an echo of it.
 
tanabe concept g, had that on my vti and some of the bangs and pops out of that were epic! :D

o and the bee-r thing is a quick way to break your engine. avoid!
 
I have a skunk 2 megapower! Get some really nice pops out of it!
 
To be entirely honest Honda's don't pop, crackle or garggle a great deal even with a juicy engine set-up, get a full straight through system and a de-cat and you should get at least a bit of snap, crackle and pop from the exhaust. As far as cars that sound epic on the over run go, this Zytek LMP1 is yet to be beaten in my books. I sure as hell wish B series powered cars sounded like this on the over run with a straight through exhaust.

I'd say thats spot on the money, make sure theres no cat in there to melt and retard the ignition a good bit too.

If you're igniting fuel in your exhaust then you're not making tractive power with it...
