right i better get this build going the now i have brought myself a nice civic to spend all my wages on

well my name is gareth i have owned an eg5 for a few years now, about 8 months ago i changed the engine in the eg to a b16a as the little d16z6 gave up on me after a while, basically due to me having a heavy right foot

so i ended up using the money i had saved for a new civic on the b16a so had to save for a new civic again, but now i have just bought an ej9 facelift to start my new project of and i carnt wait to get started.

so enough of the chat heres some pics.....

the car was cheap and needs a few touch ups but nothing to big, needs a new rear light as the right hand side has cracked

but thats it so far as the weather is shite at the mo so carnt do much really

any comments welcome and thank you for looking

cheers ppl, yeah coilovers and some wheels are first on my list of things to get to get the civic looking good

and then get it ready for the b16a i have waiting for it, but gona need some bigger brakes before that can happen lol, carnt wait until then

Looking good, looking forward to seeing this thread in the future.

i have gone a different look with my civic and with wheels i have had a 175/50/15 stretched onto the rim so i can lower the car pretty damn low, here is the result, let me know what all think

dont usually like this style wheels on a honda but this looks quite cool :D

looks stupid and actually quite dangerous with those stretched tyres!
other than that its a good clean car to work on! :nice:

All honda's ever need to look good is just a simple drop just like this one! What was the original colour of the wheels? looking kinda euro-y!

its not gona be to everyones taste but its only a 1.4 so its more than safe, they are bmw e30 wheels nd i was going for the euro look,

the wheels will change when i drop the b16a in nd change the hubs so i can use my teg wheels

x 2 on the danger part...

really don't understand why people do it...
TBH mate you owuld get the smae sort of look with a normal 195 tire but in a low profile.... 175/50's streched must be a horrible ride.. they look like they are streched to within an inch of their life... what speed ratings do your tires have...??

p.s are they BMW E30 wheels...
really nice looking car but not a fan of the euro style's another member on here pulled it off IMO but i think its not the best look for a civic...
