VSM EK9 Weekend Toy..


Small Update,

MOT MOT MOT Passed:)

1st time i got to drive my EK9 properly yesturday and its great fun, loving the Ek9 drive:nice:

I removed the battery tray today as it had some rust appearing and gave it a coat of paint to stop it getting any worse, also cleaned up all around the area, engine bay is super tidy:naughty:

Next:I have parts ready to go, just fitting now:)

Spent a couple of hours today removing the standard front windows and the scabby old membrane today, ready to fit the Lexan windows and Sliders next weekend:nerv:

Next is too flock my dash,incorporate a shift light on the dash which will also be flocked:D

how was the insurance affected by the windows?

Havnt got that far yet:)Car is insured with Sky Insurance, can't see it being an issue as they seem to insure most mods, I will post it on here once iv done it

I have spoke to my insurance and there wasnt an addition cost:)

Thanks, not sure to be honest, they are very light compared to the standard ones but by how much im not sure. Once you remove the window motor and regulator you save quite a bit.
 
Awesome mate! love the window, just makes it look more like a track toy ;)
