hi lads.

im currently building up a b series b18cR head at the moment...

i bought it second hand and have never seen it running.

im at the stage now where ive cnc'd the head and am replacing valve stem

seals, valves, valve springs, retainers, cams, etc etc...

is it in my best interests to replace the guides while its disassembled?

im on a tight budget now as ive lost my job and have been quoted an extra 200

euro in supply and fit new guides...

what are my options?

do the guides generally give bother after awhile?

ive spent alot of money on this engine and dont want a smoke machine as a

result....

thanks

alan

It depends on the condition of the guides you have now. I'd change them if it was my engine

Change them, better safe than sorry! I changed mine to supertech bronze guides :)
