V-Power Nitro+ ?

Would never put tesco fuel in my car, never as good as a bp, shell fuel.

I used tesco a few times when there has been no shell I know alot of people who use it but would never use BP as it only has 97 RON and is always more expensive up my way. 99% of the time its just V-Power :nice:

Normal ultimate is a lower octane yes.
In some garages they sell the 102.
It is about £2.50 a litre

I just put normal fuel in as my cars not mapped to any specific fuel

What if you have a b16a2 with oem ecu and oem knock-sensor ???
Would the ecu add better timing(and also better power) with higher octane ??

I have been using tesco 99 in my jdm teg since I have had it. Found i got nower near the same mpg with vpower. Been doing work on my engine last week and the head was sent of to a machine shop to be cleaned up. They said they could tell I have been using **** petrol some how and not to use it anymore so going to be swapping to vpower as soon as it's back on the road.

Exactly my point as per my last post, it not always about Ron this Ron that, if your running a stock ecu or mapped for pump fuel shell or bp will be fine, a good friend of mine works driving tankers for bp and has always said the fuels never come from the same place, as always with everything in modern society it's cheap for a reason, you get what you pay for yada yada yada.

It's still 99 ron. I filled up the other night and picked up a leaflet. All it said was some bollocks about 25% more friction modifiers... Just spicing up the brand like 'fuel saver' not really needed tbh as most people who buy V Power buy it already because they 'need' to.

Saw it today, 140 a litre here in newcastle which i thought was decent and its 99ron!

Went to fill petrol this morn at Shell.
Vpower Nitro+ replaces the original Vpower and the price is still the same.
At my local Shell it is £1.40 per litre.

Nitro+ is 99ron octane rating.

I was only filling my daily as teg isnt on the road yet.

Did you fill with the Nitro+ Jake??
Noticed any difference yet??

I paid £1.42/litre at my local shell for this earlier.
99ron, same as old vpower. Apparently it has 25% more friction modifiers, from what I read about it in the leaflet earlier.

You lot have't got a clue man... I put this stuff in my Micra yesterday and it instanly took off like a rocket. I'd say at least an extra 300BHP worth of POWAAAAAAA. Best fuel ever...

Nope, I didn't really expect too.
I just run super unleaded out of habit anyway :)
