usdm ITR oil pump/ jdm ITR oil pump

hi lads can anyone clear this up for me..

one of my buddys picked me up an itr oil pump in the US for cheap.

i think i read somewhere recently the mounting points on the timing belt cover

are different and if im using a usdm pump if to get a tb cover to suit.

anyone confirm this?

I'd like this cleared up also, as I have a USDM spec ITR oil pump! I have heard 2 of the holes line up, so it will be secure! Anyone clarify this??

You just have to cut the cover slightly. Its no big deal honestly.

Yes, the timing belt cover won't fit.
