Basically, im getting some new tyres, its usually a very easy decision but now ive started considering different makes etc...
the past 2 years ive been rolling VREDESTEIN SPORTRAC 3's
Great tyre... if not a bit soft on the side wall..
& Suprisingly grippy for a such a hard compound once warmed up!
Great in the dry, Great in the wet, Slow wearing, Very progressive as they loose grip, So overall a great road tyre. which im fairly confident with!
but now ive been told to try YOKOHAMA PARADA SPEC 2's
I know alot of people use theese and rate them very highly in the dry...
however... they are soft and wear very fast (so ive heard) Also apparently they have a semi slick compound on the outside so the first few hundred - 1000 miles it wares off and they go pretty poor ?? Also apparently they grip and grip and then BAM loose grip, not very progressive when loosing grip (once again only what ive read)
Does anyone have any experiences with theese?? Or can anyone recomond a good Road tyre with plenty of grip for the odd track day as my R888's are running very low and cant afford more yet.. will get some AD08's eventually but not yet!
Steve...... You usually have the answer to my questions.. what do you think?
All opinions reviews will be much appreciated!!
