Always wondered this... Havnt herd much about s/c b16/18, herd they take alot better to turbos where as the k20 takes better to a s/c than turbo... What's your thoughts on this?

Imo the honda engine is the wrong engine to s/c. Its designed to make power high in the rpm range, where a well spec'd turbo will thrive, where as an s/c is opposite and is better suited to big cc low revvers!!! Just my opinion of course...

Even on the k series motors turbo is the way to go, although there are people on crsx.com and 8thcivic.com that are reaching well into the 300whp range on M62 superchargers and closer to 400 on M90 and Twinscrew s/c's. But you basically hit a wall around 400whp that is proving difficult to pass. Had a ct sc k20z3 and wished I had gone turbo the whole time I had it. (I made 293whp/210wtq)

I think so to, i think superchargers are for wimps. Turbo + vtec = man

A SC b16 or b18 is pretty fun to drive, you have instant power once you get on the throttle. I mapped a SC b16 and it produces 140 FtLb's torque at 2500rpm. In my eyes that's impressive low down torque!! and it makes power all the way to 8400 rpm so not all low down grunt with no high rpm power
