Hi all,

Only thing stopping me lifting my engine out is I cant seem to split the passenger side driveshaft from the intermediate shaft? is there a quick or simple way to do this or is it just a matter of brute force?

Help me out guys!

Cheers

Joe

Leave the half shaft and intermediate together and just remove the whole lot as one, remove the bolts from brackets connected to engine block, these hold the intermediate shaft in place it will pull straight out of gearbox then.

x2 this, much handier.

On a LSD box I just simply remove the long shaft then stick a socket extension through the box and give it a few light taps.

Thanks for the heads up guys, removing the bolts holding the intermediate shaft bracket and removing the shaft from the gearbox that way worked a treat! Engine out tomoro!!

:D thanks
