Toyota Supra anyone?

Hi i am back on the forum after a year of not owning a civic. Anyway i have a toyota supra 230BHP non turbo auto in white. Which i have raced a lot of DC5 type r's and ek9's and they can never keep up. it has quite a large spec of sensible mods including Forged alaminium alloys, brand new michelin pilot sport 2 tyres (£600) etc. Please let me know if anyone is interested in a swap for a ek9. Thank you

To be honest i aint that bothered if i don't sell it. the engine is running absolute mint like it just come out the factory. Whats the point in hiding something that everyone knows in the first place? i don't race the car everyday if thats the hint you are thinking. once in a blue moon if i find a car worth racing.
 
if you can beat ek9's then lets go out the road now

ill throw down the tax book of my car

supra's are for people who watched fast and the furious and call themself brian o conner

yes they are a nice car

but only with the gt500 top secret kit

a non turbo AUTO is worthless in my eyes

youd have to give money along with it to get an EK9
 
There is no way an Auto non turbo supra is beating anything! I'm sorry it's just not possible i have driven and worked on many supra's, anyhow glws, it should make a nice daily driver for someone if it at least has soft suspension...
 
I can never understand why people buy automatic sports cars, half the fun of driving is in changing the gear! You may as well drive a lawn-mower. :p

Is a non turbo Automatic Supra really a sports car though? Is a EJ6 a sports car? Or a Ford Mustang with a V6? While some of these cars have sports versions in my personal opinion the versions without the turbo or smaller engines or less power are not really sports cars... They are wannabes, they look the part but thats about it.
 
I struggle to believe that a car that size (about the size of the 1989 Batmobile) and weight with only 230bhp is going to beat a car with 185hp (Unmodded) and weighs about as much as an empty crisp packet. Just dont see that happening. Someone in my area and he has the turbo supra with 800+hp (was 1000, but had to detune, the chassis couldnt cope). Now that would beat everything on the road. I can only suspect that the people you were 'racing' didnt know how to drive, or they were totally unaware they were racing you, or even that they werent Ek9s in the first place. Good luck with the sale, but I kind of think you have come to the wrong place to sell it, especially with the comments you made.
 
First of all like i said i don't care if anyone is not interested i am going to sell it privately. And you can't talk about what you see on paper. Try racing a supra any supra and see if you can beat it. Also your talking about real sports cars etc. Am sorry but how can you call a front wheel drive car a real sports car? I got to admit a civic accelerates quick but after 100kmh its useless. and thats when the supras potential kicks in. Anyway cheers for the comments but you are trying to be too defensive on something you don't have prove off.

This is rich coming from a guy that want's to swap a non turbo auto supra for a ek9. Why don't you go buy a sports car instead, because apparently the CTR isn't one!
 
OMG i really don't understand how you people think! you can never admit defeat. You telling me now a EK9? regardless what mods you do to it will keep up with a Supra RZ-s BPU?? 0-60mph 4 seconds flat. And top speed excess of 190mph. Please give me a break its a 1.6!! ffs! yes its light but it don't have a high top speed. You ever seen a 1000bhp EK9?? lool Look at what your saying!
And the video you posted makes no sense atall!
 
No offence to you, but you come on here asking for someone to swap with your supra. Now your just telling us how much better you think supra's are than ek9's. I think you need to go back to your little supra forum and stay there.
