to old for a EK9??


31 and it's my daily. Can't argue that gas mileage and Honda reliability

I'm 40 this year, had ek9's constantly for the last 12 years. Also already had my "mid life crisis" with a Atom 300. Sold that now building my 68 S800.

Never too old for a 9!

I'm 31 in a few weeks, waited this long to own a ek9 so I'm not about to sell it because of my age.

My mrs says I have the mental age of a teenager so I'm sure that helps as well.
 
:)I'm 41 on Sunday, still love driving my B18 EK4, i do sometimes feel like a boy racer, and get the looks off guys younger than me in the BM's and Audi's.

Heading towards a Crisis machine though, i can hear it calling me.

But if it makes you smile then carry on with the love, as said the 9 is a special car, shame some kids are getting hold of them and wrecking them.
 
im 22 and ive just got my first civic but i still think and act like im 15 so im probs okay for next 10 years :))
 
I'll be 27 this year and i'm still rocking the civic, i don't daily it anymore, mainly because it'd turn my spine into dust. However i love owning my civics, always will! My daily currently is a 2011 Mini, it's a nice car, but i long for my EP3. Miss that car and wish i had never sold it. Tempted to buy that car back, seems it's back up for sale, so it's tempting.
 
I'm 34 & I have an ek9 that I will never sell. I don't drive it much anymore because I have a Jdm ep3 as my daily
 
45 and I love the little thing, gotta say I had a few looks from the youngsters at the first race meeting I did with it as if to say really?? They soon changed their tune when the old boy gave them a whoopin! Ha ha, great fun and an awesome package the EK9.
I'm back in my trusty old Escorts again this year and my daughter is campaining the EK but I will still use it as my daily and may do the odd guest appearance. :)
 
I'm nearly 33 and love the EK9, hope this helps you. Yes you always get the 'this is a Barry boys car' type comments from those who don't know their cars, don't worry, just get one and enjoy.......never too old and never too late :nice::))
 
I guess the question has to be asked...... what age are you?

If your gonna be better off with soft suspesion for those aching joints and no road noise, maybe an EK9 isnt for you. haha

Are you worried about how you would look when driving it? Personally I wouldn't buy a car because of the way other people will judge me in it...

Parents and GF:"Why did you buy that for? I don't like it"

Me:"I didn't buy the car for you to like it!"
 
iam 26 but have a s14a road car as my fun car at the mo and its just as raw as the ek9 in terms of sus and loudness lol just allways wanted to have a ek9 for somereason lol
 
Im 21 have a Jordan just now plan to keep this for a good while then either get an ek9 or jdm ep3 in my mid 20's :p
 
Have a Yellow EK4 SiR. And in my particular area I feel too old for it sometimes and I'm 21, just because of the amount of modded 1.4 civic's there are around here now and from a bystanders point of view I'm sure I'm connected with them all!
