Tinted Sunstrips!

Can anyone tell me where to get tinted sunstrips? after seeing one on a clients car I was quite impressed and would like to get hold of one for mine.

Hey Will, a few guys over here who do window tinting make there own using a roll of window tint, cut it to shape then apply to window if that's what you mean by tinted sunstrips..
 
like a big ark across the screen? thats what I mean. I really like the look. I might try finding a good window tinter in the area then

Hows it going anyway Aonghus, you still got the 9' ?

Can buy precut it seems but in the states

Just use black vinyl look a bit more track. And do it youself its a piece of pish :))
 
As ian says you can buy a roll of fablon vinyl from B&Q for a fiver and make your own sunstrip to whatever depth you like

Mine measures 7" deep at the sides, old pic but you get the idea

dont want vinyl in any solid colour, Im after a 1' thick super dark tint strip. User Zen on here has one, since you can still see through it Its really good on bright days and isnt illegal since its still see-through. Albeit on the hazey side of the law :ek9:

also im not keen to cut the shape myself, I seem to remember Zen's arcing IIRC

1'? like a foot deep? who told you it wasnt illegal? the police make you take them off on the spot here (northern ireland) and/or fine you. and they dont pass MOT.
 
do these black ones come in a glossy or matt finish?
what does every one have?
I got a roll in black and its in a glossy finish, dont know if i like it
