EK9 goes on laid up insurance so I have 5 more days to enjoy it.

Just bought a wee lupo for the mrs and myself as a winter run about, defo wont be the same though.

Looks likely the 9 will then be getting sold after the winter, always said once I got to 29 I would plan to move onto something else.

Better get out for a blast tomorrow as it may be my last :((

Many of you guys taking your 9 off the road for the winter?

Mine will be if it hasnt sold by then as 340bhp+ wet= wheelspin at 120 so not evan going to attempt to brave the snow! Lol

Sad to hear!! End of one thing start of another but :))

I will be putting the car into the garage at the end of the month regardless whether the snow starts! Wont be back out until at least the end of January but will have some major developments in the few months :D

My 9 already tucked away in the garage since the start of sept,

I also need a winter car later on, also planning on selling/ breaking the ek9 at the middle / end of next summer

i'm trying to get my car finished and down for mapping before the snow comes then it will be tucked up in the driveway for quite a while over winter........

Mine is resting :)

Will still get used on nice days when there is minimal salt out but washed immediately once it's home.

I've got until end of the month when the tax and MOT expire, then it's back to the old rover oil burner for 6-months

my ek9 is going to be garaged for the winter, i bought a 96 525i touring for the winter runabout will be fun but its no ek9.

It's not an ek9 but my Jordan will be getting garaged over winter. It's getting tucked away at the end of the month.

mine will be tucked away once the snow comes, it'll be a long wait until next year before i get it out again...stupid snow

Mine is going for a MOT in the next few weeks then getting tucked away over the rot period.

Give me a shout when you do,i want your spoiler!

Same, my EK9 is getting garaged during the winter months to avoid the bad weather!

i used to take my car off the road for the winter, jack it up in the garage with the wheels off treated it too well haha but now with living in the city centre and having a wedding to save for, moved away from civics and got myself another wee clio sport to kick around in for the next year or so, however its true what they say the last drive in your pride and joy is the most gutting :( will never forget my old evo :)

Mines will be coming off and getting broken down as soon as i pick up my winter runner.

Then new project next year , but in the same boat a s Dan (Wedding to save for :slap: ) but i wont be in a gay Clio :p

Mine has been tucked away in my unit since the start of september.Should be back out february and looking abit different :D

Sid-Yeh Scotts breaking his EK4 turbo its an absolute minter but he just feels he's spent far 2 much money on the car so far and he knows he wont see it again in return. So decided 2 cut his losses. Its a shame but understandable! This just means there are alot of rare and wanted parts that will be available shortly.;)

unfortunately I don't have indoor garage space so might just park it on driveway and cover it nicely.

Mine has a garage but not enough space to jack it up and get the wheels off etc lol

Still insured / taxed atm as I want to build up a years no claims on a second car as i don't have a multicar policy! Re-fitting my gearbox tonight along with some other new bits then will take it for one last drive on the weekend (weather dependant) since all its new bits and then it will be tucked away until the weather gets a bit better unless we have some un-expected sunny saturdays!! However having just bought a house the car is now severely on the back foot :(
