Testing the water


Cool, I'll start a proper thread once I'm happy with them.

But for now I'll make a note of who's interested.
 
Picking up the foam today!

So will knock some pairs up and review how they do over the next week or so.
 
A camping matt for £4

Its waterproof and you get a large amount, simple trace the old ones and cut out! Mine are going strong after 2years and are slighlty thicker than OEM
 
Yeah camping mats not bad either but not everyone is going to want to do that.

As I was buying the foam anyway I figured I'd just make a few more pairs to give people the chance to buy a very good, cheaper alternative to the expensive Honda ones.

I grabbed the foam today and already have one made up and on the nine. Seems the foam is very similar, if not the same, as the stuff Honda make theirs from.

I am very impressed with how his stuff feels and works so far. Also is 2mm thicker than OEM at 5mm.

Will get a few photos up later for comparison.
 
Ok have a couple of photos of the only one I've made so far. Not as tidy as I would like but can improve on this.

Should a few made up over the week end and we'll go from there.
